Rental car terms and conditions

USAGE FLOW

1.Reservation

You can make a reservation from this website or by phone.
When making a reservation online, please enter your desired date of use.
When making a reservation over the phone, please let us know the necessary information such as your desired date and contact information.

2.Date of useWe will take you to the airport.

For customers spending 10,000 yen or more, we will provide free transportation to Naha Airport.
*Only available from Naha Airport to the office (259-1 Nakachi, Tomigusuku City, Okinawa Prefecture).
Transfer to the airport: We will transfer you to the airport or Akamine Station according to your time.

3.Reception/departureYou can use it quickly with a simple procedure.

Reception and rental procedures will be carried out at the Shimameguri Rental Car Office.
We will exchange the "Rental Agreement". Please check the current scratches and malfunctions of the rental car with our staff.
The process takes approximately 10 minutes and you can leave immediately.

4.ReturnPlease be careful not to be late.

Please allow time for the return process. Please be careful not to miss your flight.
Please arrive at the office at least 1 hour before your flight departure time. When you arrive at the parking lot, the office staff will check the condition of the rental car (scratches, defects, etc.) and then settle the charges for excess time, etc. It may take some time depending on the situation.
Customers who spend more than 10,000 yen will receive free transportation from our office. Please feel free to tell us.

*We cannot be held responsible if you are unable to arrive in time for your flight due to various procedures or traffic conditions.

We ask that rental cars be returned with a full tank of fuel.
Please refuel at the nearest gas station before returning the vehicle.
If you do not return the vehicle with a full tank, we will charge the amount set by our company (40 yen per kilometer traveled).
(Fractions less than 1km will be rounded up)

If you wish to extend your contract period, please contact our office in advance.
(Please note that if you exceed the limit without contacting us, you will be required to pay a separately determined excess charge.)

You cannot drop off the vehicle. Please pick up your return at our office.

QUESTION

Q1. I would like to know the details of the charges.: Rental car fees are the "basic fee" + "deductible compensation fee (optional)".
Other options such as child seats, insurance enrollment, etc. will be added as necessary.

Q2. About payment methods: Payment methods are available: cash, PayPay, and credit card (online advance reservations only).
Please pay in advance at the store on the day you rent a car.

Q4. Is it possible that the car I reserved cannot be rented?: In the event of an accident or sudden engine trouble, it may not be possible to complete repairs or maintenance by the date of use.
Alternatively, if two vehicles are reserved at the same time, a substitute vehicle may be used. Please note.

Q5. Is it okay to have one license for one person?: A driver's license is required for everyone who will be driving.
Please note that if you do not present your driver's license on the day of the event, we will refuse to drive or will not be able to lend you the vehicle.

Q6. Can I rent with an international driving license?: You can use this service with a driver's license valid in Japan (including international driver's licenses and foreign driver's licenses).
When renting a car, you must present your international driver's license and passport.

Q7. Can I borrow a child seat?: We can rent one unit for ¥1,100 (tax included).
Children under the age of 6 are legally required to use a child seat.
We recommend using a junior seat until the child is around 10 years old (height: 135 cm or less, 36 kg or less).

INSURANCE

Scope and limit of compensation: In the unlikely event that you are involved in an accident, you will be covered within the following compensation limits.
1. Personal compensation Unlimited per person
2. Property compensation Unlimited per accident (deductible 50,000 yen)
3Personal Injury Coverage Unlimited per person
4.Vehicle compensation Up to the vehicle market value per accident (exemption: 100,000 yen per accident)
